Job Description:

• Train candidates to prepare for the NY State NA certification exam by following    FLCC's syllabus. 
• Travel to authorized FLCC NA approved sites to provide training as required.
• Make arrangements with our approved health care facility partners to provide on-site clinical portion of training program.
• Contact and make arrangements with NY State approved exam providers to coordinate exam date and examination evaluator.
• Advise supplies/materials count to staff personnel to maintain adequate stock to run classes.

Requirements:

Educational Background: NY State Licensed Registered Nurse.

Skills and Requirements: Completion of State approved 24 hour Train the trainer program.

• Two years experience in long term care service.
• Two years experience teaching Nurse Assistant in a NYS DOE approved academic setting or teaching in a residential health care facility.
•  Strong organizational skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to promote/coordinate health and wellness services in accordance with professional standards and philosophical/legal boundaries of the College are required.
•  Must be able to assess, implement, evaluate and revise evidence-based strategies for student wellness using appropriate data sources.
•  A commitment to working with and for students is required.
