Job Description:
The Human Resources Development Specialist will consult with staff at all levels in the College to support them in achieving professional success and positive outcomes. Design, plan, conduct and evaluate competency-based education, orientation, mentoring and training programs for all College employees. Maintain visibility and credibility throughout the College and in the community. Coordinate the development and work processes for the job description and performance evaluation systems. Serve as a team member in the Human Resources Office, providing support for the employment and fringe benefit programs and processes.
Requirements:
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Organizational Behavior, Human Resources or related field required. Masters degree preferred. Experience: Three years of experience in education, training, or related consulting experience. Experience in higher education preferred. Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills. Experience in developing and providing training programs. Knowledge with the development of salary structures, performance evaluation systems, and job descriptions. Demonstrated proficiency in advanced computer skills, (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite, including Word 2007, Excel, Access, and Power Point and Desktop Publisher).
